Error - View Single Post - XML4 "mystery" folders are being created and added to my root directory automatically

I noticed in my root c: directory I have seventy or so folders all with names such as 63793ea2cc83249b29d17c19.
The contents of each folder has numerous lines of baffling text. There seems to be a similar reference in each folder referring to MSXML4.
It seems the folders keep coming. Can anyone explain a solution for stopping the files from being auto-created?
