Question: We have had a longstanding issue where people working in Photoshop files on a network share are suddenly not able to save their files, it gives them an access denied message. They then resort to "saving as..." and eventually end up with multiple copies of the files they are working on. They are also unable to rename or delete any of the locked files until they reboot. Nobody else is working on the same files and after a little research it turns out that explorer.exe is the process that has the file locked. My best guess is that it has something to do with the thumbnail view in explorer. We're using Photoshop 7.0. I'm wondering if anyone else is familiar with this issue and if there is a way to stop explorer.exe from locking these files down, and worst case, how can the thumbnail view be disabled only for .psd's
