Error - View Single Post - Installing Vista on brand new machine

I'm looking for opinions here, not facts. I built a brand new machine with the intention of installing Vista on it. I'd like to know what people think about installing the 64 bit version of Vista vs the 32 bit. In terms of speed, driver compatability, expandability, software compatability, etc - will I have problems? I've only worked with 32 bit versions of OSes in the past. Here are the essentials on my machine:

Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.13 Ghz
2 GB of RAM at DDR-800
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 (rev. 1.0) motherboard
320 GB HDs running in a RAID 1 array (RAID provided by mobo)
MSI NX7600GS-T2D256E GeForce 7600GS 256MB GDDR2

I know the supposed benefits of a 64 bit OS, increased register size, more RAM capability, etc. But what real world benefit or drawbacks does that lead to? I appreciate your input.
