Im working on a Compaq Presario SR1500AN that occasionaly freezes forcing you to do a soft power shutdown. When the computer restarts it has a Disk Boot Failure, Insert System Disk and Press Enter error. The hard disk is brand new but the problem still occured with the old hard disk. Any thoughts?
The system is running Windows XP with I think SP2
