Error - View Single Post - What will boot up ISO operating system on DVD do to pre-existing data?

I have a friend who has an operating system on a boot up DVD which exist as an ISO file. If he boots from this DVD with the ISO file on it, what will happen after that point?

Any shared insights to this question will be appreciated.
