Question: Saturday, I installed Vista Home Premium on my pc (AMD Athlon 1800XP, 1 GB, Nvidia Geforce 6200).
Every time I boot my pc and I log in and I launch my browser or my mail, I get the message that the
server could not be reached. When I use the tools of Vista to check my network settings, I get the message that there is a problem with my ip-address. But when I do a ipconfig /all, the ip-address is good. But I notice that I get also info about the ip6. After I perform a ipconfig /renew, it works again. Is it possible that Vista wants to take the ip6 address as default? Or what could be the problem? Before, I had XP, it worked without any problems.
