Make sure that first the mouse is plugged in!!!!!! If so then try going to the games control settings via teh keyboard shortcut keys. If that doesn't work try re-installing and configuring the game before you load it up for the first time. There should be a program called setup somewhere in your destination directory.
Once the mouse is moving you should be able to advance past the first level!!!!!!!!!!
