Default Re: Avoiding air and ground to air missiles in F16 Multirole

1) Put the missile on your 3o'clock or 9 o'clock line (in fighter pilot jargon, "on your 3/9 line").
2) KEEP the missile there, as you will have to maintain a turn to do it.
3) When the missile is "close" (say 1 mile), drop chaff or flare (depending on missile type) then turn INTO the missile. As the missile is also turning toward you, and it is faster, it SHOULD go by behind you as you temporarily confused it with the decoys.
4) In general... drop decoy, THEN turn hard. Do not keep dropping as you turn, as you will LEAD the missile back into you!
