Question: I have configured a share on a Samba server with the following share definition:
[traces]
valid users = tcengineer
writeable = yes
public = yes
path = /var/www/traces
I can point to the samba server from winxp pro explorer and see the shares, but when I try andopen the share folder i get a "Connection to ..." pop-up with the Username field prepopulated with "server\Guest" and grayed out so it can't be changed.
