Sound Converter description Download
Sound Converter project can convert sound files to other formats.

A simple sound converter application for the GNOME environment. It reads anything the GStreamer library can read, and writes WAV, FLAC, MP3, and Ogg Vorbis files.

Requirements:

· GNOME 2.x
· Python
· PyGTK
· GStreamer
· GStreamer-python
· GStreamer-lame for MP3 output

What's New in This Release:

· This release can run multiple conversions at the same time.
· The default is one per core; you can adjust this with --jobs.
· Various crashes have been fixed.
· Polish, Serbian, and German translations have been updated.
