To change these and other values, open Cruciform.cfg in the
\data directory of the game and edit required data.

More blood:

To get more blood and other options, use a text editor to edit the
"game_state.txt" file in the directory that contains your current save
(for example, \genesis rising\save\1\autosave_asteroids@2007-03-30 08-39-44).
Note: Once you change your blood amount, it carries over to all missions.


Starting ships, gene level and more:

to change all kinds of settings for your starting ships and gene level, use a
text editor to edit the "entities.set" file. This is another file that rebuilds
in a new save folder, but again once you change it and that ship is still active,
it carries over.
