well, it should work, but i didn't write this tutorial, so... anyway, i guess you need to configure your router a little bit, don't know where and what, but i think you'd better contact InfiniZ by PM/email as he wrote this tut ------------------ 2oo7 |

alright guys i have been trying to bridge for a while now but im having trouble setting up the connections...to start my computer only had one ethernet port so i went and bought a fast ethernet PCI network card. so im hooked up with the internet running into the first ethernet port then another ethernet cord running from the new ethernet port to the xbox, however, the connection thing says that the cable running to the xbox is not connected...and i don't know what to do |

Are you using a crossover cable to connect your xbox to your computer....if not that is the problem. If you are, try going into your network settings and right clicking on the connection that is not working and disable it then enable it. That has worked for me a few times. I have a seperate problem. I get into matchmaking and get to stage 2 but it never puts other people into my party. I was told that this could be done with a friend but maybe that was wrong. If someone knows for sure let me know...it will be well appreciated. ![]() |

Ok...sorry I was gona for awhile guys...I've lloked through these posts and I'm sorry to say I'm not sure about any of the problems except the one on self-brideging... I don't beleive this is possible, because someone else has to bridge (or connect) onto you for this to work, that is why you or your friend must get each others IP, so at least one of you can connect with other people... Hope this helped! |
