Ok, so, it all started when I was searching for a dependable scripting program so I can start my own server. I was searching for hours, and still did'nt find one. so theres this site, but I am not able to scan it like I did with all the other ones, so I took a chance since nothing bad had ever happened to my computer. so I do that, and after a few minutes, pop-ups start showing up saying WARNING: YOUR SECURITY IS A RISK! You have intracted TrojanAdware.W32.Exp.Dwldr, which can steal email passworks, yada yada yada. I panicked. (hence the name, panicdevil) but I was so naive that I did not expect the irony of what was about to happen. seconds after, a pop-up brang itself up, and it was adversiting "spyware protector" which was actually adware. oh the sick irony! so then I get another pop-up saying I have an adware trojan horse this one doesnt force a pop-up if you click "no" I am pretty sure it advertised "error cleaner" if you click yes. so then a blinking explanation point in a red yeild sign showed up in my (system tray, is it?) you know where your MSN is, and all the other quicklaunch icons. I suck a techie stuff. so now I am having a meltdown at my computer. I run spy sweeper, and idiotically I download all 3 adware "spyware removers" only to now have them appear on my desktop EVERY SINGLE TIME when I start up the computer! and they arent shortcuts. they are the entire program. kinda stupid of me. lol. so spy sweeper is done, and neigh neigh! I find mr.trojan and all his other buddies. I try deleting him once, twice, three times, four times, with all no avail. so I leave me computer for the night. next day I go on and get spy-bot, which helped identify whats happening, but still, no deleting action happening. So now I try to go onto my internet, and my home page happens to be google.it is now changed to MORE adware advertising, and it is linked to this site called xxx.gomyron.xxx (DO NOT GO THERE!!! IF YOU WANT WHAT I HAVE BE MY GUEST!!! OTHERWISE NO!!!!) So
I get mad now. lol. I research a little, and realize that I have something called Hijack. This or SOMETHING. As I said I am not a techie. there ARE ways to remove it, but I am unsure of which way I should kill the stupid horsie and turn him into puppy chow! the pop-ups are VERY annoying, and some disturbing, advertising porn, porn removers, and one REALLY sad attempt of a pop-up saying that it scanned my computer and found porn, even though
there is absolutley none of that filthy stuff on my computer. What is the best move I should take at this point? (P.S: I don't know if this will help, but the geek who started the virus stole my spy sweeper, and expired my norton antivirus, leaving me only with spy-bot to help me.
