Internal Failure: Error Number 0x80040707

I am trying to uninstall my Blackberry Desktop Manager software and reinstall it, and I am getting the above error. I have tried uninstalling and installing over the top of the program but to no avail. I am running Windows XP with Office 2003. The reason I am trying to uninstall it is that I can not sync my phone correctly (obviously I know why - now). Please help. Thanks!

emans its present in the add remove programs only.... you can remove its entry like described here!
