I'm not sure if this is a Windows XP thing or if it's related to I.E...

I am using I.E. 7 and I need to be able to send web pages by email. On my home machine when I select "Send Page", I.E. will log me into my hotmail account and create a new email. This is probably done because MSN Messenger remembers my current email address or because my hotmail account is linked somehow to my Windows session.

At work on the other hand, when I try the same thing, it will go to my Outlook email instead. What's happening? I tried to change the "Internet Application" for emailing and this affects it but I don't know what I should use.

If Hotmail is not showing up as an option in the drop down box Internet Options->Progams->E-Mail then it's no registered for MAPI anymore.
Go to Start|Run and run......

regsvr32 "%Programfiles%\Internet Explorer\HMMAPI.DLL"

That should reregister Hotmail as a MAPI interface and add it to that drop down box.
