dear experts
when i click download button, some unknown characters running in the browser page ( instead of opening a NEW open from current location/save dialoguge box)
how to rectify it?

can u tell me which site, because this appears to be a server-sided error
In IE it's not possible to click "save as.." on a button
so, to get around is by installing a secondary browser like mozilla firefox and then use the "save as.." function
but it nearly always is a server sided error, if you own the server, please tell me so i can provide you a solution

same result with IE 6 and 7 and avant browser
same result from yahoo, gmail, msn etc
when i wish to download a zip attachment from a mail of gmail some unknown characters start flowing like this...

so i used to right click the link and save it to a location
if like to download from a Rapidshare, no link is availble to download ( a button to click). when i click the button same problem surfaces.

well, that's why i said, install mozilla firefox, because then u can right click and save it to a location

also get addon from firefox page you will get a download accalator name in download part
