Export to PDF without Crystal Reports

I want to export my web page ( that only has a gridview ) to a PDF file. I've found many tutorials about that but all of them uses Crystal Reports. Is there a way to do it any other way and without a third party application? Any tutorial links or starting leads you can share with me?

Crystal reports is expensive
Crystal reports has a pretty big learning curve (took me a week or so before I was creating viable reports on the fly), and it was fairly hard to find documentation
Crystal reports is great once you understand what you can do!
