Default Adobe Acrobat Professional 8 crashes when you try to print a PDF to an HP2420 printer

question
Save a pdf using AAP 8 , then when you go to print it , we print to a Hewlett Packard 2420dn printer, and the program crashes and closes instantly. If i print to a HP4000 or our Image Runner 330s - pdfs will print fine but it wont on the HP2420. Even more bizzare, open the same pdf with Adobe Reader 7.0.7 version and you can print it out on the HP2420dn.
I have done windows updates, and called Adobe but they say there is no updates for 8 as of yet. Should I try updating the firmware on the HP 2420 ? I have seen other people have had this issue but I havent seen any results or answers posted.

We also tryed re-installing the product, that didnt do anything. There arent many "services" running in the background so it isnt a memory thing. Also, it seems like it is definately related to that printer because I can print to other HP printers, just not the 2420

Have you tried upgrading your printer driver? It may not be a problem with Acrobat, but with your driver: Acrobat is very demanding in regards to the driver, and older drivers have caused problems in the past. I've never heard about a printer driver problem that would crash Acrobat, but it's possible, so I would first try to update the driver.

Do you run into the same problem when you use Reader 8?
