Question: I had to reset the device because the old password was lost and this time can access 192.168.2.1 otherwise working fine.

is your problem that the ap can't access 2.1?
from your ipconfig, you list your gateway as 192.168.0.1. which means when you reset your router it went from 2.1 back to the factory default of 0.1, so you need to change your ap to point to 0.1 & assign it a static ip of 0.2 or whatever.
