The drive shows up under Windows XP and 2k on two different machines as part of the workgroup. The problem is that when I attempt to access the drive I get and error, "\\Simpleshare is not accessible - the network path was not found". Attempts to get help from Simpletech have been futile. Their only answer is to disable the firewall which I have done on both computers and the router - same result. Has anyone had success using the Simpletech Simple Share NAS with a Windows box? |

Check http://www.simpletech.com/support/su...impleshare.php. From what you have posted, it does not seem that the filesharing functionality is enabled. Did you use the NASFinder? Call them or take snapshots on the interface and post the URL here where those images can be seen. It's possible that there is something wrong and the box does not completely boot. |

Check SimpleTech Consumer Pages. From what you have posted, it does not seem that the filesharing functionality is enabled. Did you use the NASFinder?
