Default Vpn Connection To SBS server Doesnt work!!

im having very very weird isue, i installed sbs server 2003 on a new machine running vpn on it
the server is behind dsl modem connecting to WRT54gl Linksys Router, i opened any necessary ports
47, 1723,500 ect...im trying to perform simple pptp inbound connection and the process terminated and user anme and pass step
this isue drived me crasy for 3 days!!!! and finaly i did something on the server that confused me even more now
i create new vpn connection from the sbs to my prtivate server at home the connection was estublished i disconected the vpn
and i got back to my xp xlients to try to connect again to sbs and now everything works greate!!! but after one or tow hours i got disconnected
and i needed to connect again from the sbs to ny private server disconnect this connection again and reconnect from mt xp client
does anyone here hsa sollution for this weird isue?

The To-Do list is in the Server Management Console. You should do ALL configuration of your SBS from there.

If you have many SBS2003's then you have many misconfigured SBS2003's. Take a look at http://sbsurl.com/itpro for why SBS is different.

What do you mean the firewall interface?? You don't use the Windows Firewall Service with SBS either. This would be configured with the Configure Email and Internet Connection Wizard.

I hate to say this... but you can't manage an SBS the same way as a standard Server 2003, which is what it seems as though you are doing. You will keep having these type of problems if you didn't install and configure SBS the way it was intended to be done.
