Default SBS 2003 R2 - C - system volume information is taking up 14.5 GB of C drive

Hello Ladies and Gents,

I have a sick SBS 2003 R2 server and need your help. The problem is that the C:system volume information (folder? file?) is taking up 14.5 GB on the C drive. I search for a similar problem here and found one that advised to delete the index catalogues and disable the indexing service. I tried that and it did not work.

So I currently have the indexing service disable and 14.5 GB of my C: drive consumed by the system volume information. I'm under 10% free space and need to get this back to normal.

Any and all help will be very much appreciated.

Sure, right click on Drive C: and select the Shadow Copies tab in the Properties dialogue.

You shouldn't have any enabled on Drive C under most circumstances.
