Default Asus A8M2N-LA Drivers

I recently purchased an HP Pavillion a1610n Media Center PC. I immediately upgraded the OS to XP Pro. Well of course I now need to install numerous drivers to te everyhting back in working order... Went to HP Website and did search under item name and only 2 XP drivers available. Called HP Support and they informed me that they do not support OS upgrades and there are no drivers available for XP OS. Ok... so I went to ASUSTek... Searched my MOBO Serial Number (see question title) and the close as I could get was the M2N mobo. Downloaded as many drivers as they had and got a few items working. Went to NVIDIA (the chipset) and downloaded a couple more compatible drivers... Now I am left with no sound, no modem (not vital) and no working network card (even though the adapter shows up as OK in device manager) The device manager lists 3 items under "OTHER DEVICES" as missing they are as follows:

Other PCI Bridge Device
PCI Simple Communications Controller (likely the modem)
Unknown Device

Does anyone know how to get my sound and network hardware to work? I am worn out...

Here are the specs HP lists for this MOBO:

The XP MCE drivers should work with xp pro. I have yet to see one not work both ways. If it doesnt or you dont have the disk the chipset drivers can be downloaded from nvidia's website. nForce 430/410/405/400 - Windows (the chipset driver also includes the nic driver)
