I think you are asking what the words after some companies names mean? 1) Technologies is not a legal suffix as far as i know. Most times companies use this to suffix to describe the development part of their company if their company is split into several sections. Also, its often used to indicate that the company actively develops products for a certain market (For example, Ati Technologies) 2) softech: I never heard of that suffix. Perhaps its just the name of the company? 3) Ltd stands for Limited. (Legal Suffix) This is an originally English legal form for a company which limits the liability the persons in this company have when the company would end up bankrupt. (IE: When its bankrupt the remaining debts wont be transfered to the directors) 4) A) United: Most times indicates that the company has been created by merging several smaller companies. Not a legal suffux. B) Incorporated: Means that the company has been made into a corporation (Microsoft is an example) Was this the info you are looking for? Kind regards, |
