How to Unlock Apple iPhone for use with Verizon Wireless

Question: I'm dying to get my hands on a new iPhone, but my cellular provider is Verizon Wireless. I've heard a lot of people talking about hacks that allow you to unlock iPhones and use them with carriers other than AT&T.

If I were to buy an iPhone, how can I unlock it to use it with my current provider, Verizon Wireless?

will not happen
iphone uses a GSM Network, and Verizon is CDMA.

Unless iphone develops a totally new version of the phone, it wont happen.
