One of my users had to get the iphone, so here we go.... My exchange server has ssl and OWA working properly. From my firewall I have forwarded TCP port 143 to my exchange server. On exchange I started the imap service, then went into exchange system manager and started imap. Anything else here to configure? On the iphone, i went through the mail settings. I'm using mail.mydomain.com for incoming mail server and outgoing mail server. Also set the iphone to use SSL for incoming and outgoing. -------Error Message on iphone----------- Cannot Get Mail The connection to the server "mail.mydomain.com" failed. ---------------------------------------- What should I check? |

If you have a cert for OWA, you can use that cert for IMAP. Export it and import it to IMAP. But, if you do this the domain name for IMAP and OWA must match and IMAP and OWA must run on the same box. The ssl port for IMAP is 993 |
