I have a Windows 2003 terminal server with Microsoft Office 2003 installed. I used to have mcafee antivirus client installed, but that have been removed to be able to install mcafee server. The status now is no mcafee software installed at all.

When users (also Administrator) launch Outlook, they recieve the following error messages (I only see the messasages in norwegian but I have tried to translate them as good as I can):
- Kan ikke installere alle laste tillegget c:\program files\mcafee\managed virusscan\vscan\scanemal.200.... Dette problemet kan løses ved hjelp av Finn og reparer på hjelp-menyen. (Cannot install or load addition c:\program files\mcafee\managed virusscan\vscan\scanemal.200... This problem can be solved by the find and repair at the help menu).
- Kan ikke installere alle laste tillegget c:\program files\mcafee\managed virusscan\vscan\scanotlk.200.... Dette problemet kan løses ved hjelp av Finn og reparer på hjelp-menyen. (Cannot install or load addition c:\program files\mcafee\managed virusscan\vscan\scanotlk.200... This problem can be solved by the find and repair at the help menu).
- Error Loading Resource Dll.
- Kan ikke installere alle laste tillegget c:\program files\network associates\virusscan\scanemal.dll.... Dette problemet kan løses ved hjelp av Finn og reparer på hjelp-menyen. (Cannot install or load addition c:\program files\network associates\virusscan\scanemal.dll... This problem can be solved by the find and repair at the help menu).

After these messages, outlook starts up normally.

I have manually deleted all files from mcafee and registry settings that I could find. Have also tried to install the mcafee client software and uninstalled it again.

Check if the Addin for Mcafee is still in Outlook. Go to Tools > Options > Other > Advanced Options > Addin Manager or COMM/Addins and disable anything related to Mcafee. Click OK. Restart Outlook.
