Default Exchange 2003 Public Folder calendars and Daylight Saving Time change

Question: I have many Exchange 2003 public folder calendars running in my organization. How do I update these for the extended daylight savings time. All of our clients are running Outlook 2003.

Unfortunately, public folders seem to ahve been left out of scope for the Exchange version of TZUpdate. here's the process I'm using this weekend to prepare our systems for the DST change:

(1) Update all serveros (MS KB928388)
(2) Update all client OS's (MS KB928388)
(3) Update Exchange (MS KB926666)
(4) Configure and run Microsoft's VM for the Exchange Calendar Update -

Here's a good link to help you with step 4 if you need it:
You Had Me At EHLO... : Step by step run of the Exchange Calendar Update Configuration Tool (MSExTMZCFG.EXE)

Unfortunately, the Exchange Calendar update process is only used for mailboxes - not public folders. After you complete the above, you need to run TZupdate.exe (the outlook calendar update tool) and manually select each public calendar to update (you have to be signed on with an account with write access to all PFs). I've got about 80 of them, so I'm not too bad off. At this point in time, my understanding is that the issue of globally updating Public folders has not been addressed by Microsoft. Don't know if enough people will complain before march 12th to get them on it or not....
