Note This problem does not occur when you log on by using a Microsoft Windows user account that has restricted permission. Download the VS2005-KB908002-ENU-x86.EXE package now. Microsoft used the most current virus-detection software that was available on the date that the file was posted. The file is stored on security-enhanced servers that help prevent any unauthorized changes to the file. To install this update for Visual Studio 2005, we recommend that you follow these steps: 1.Save the download package on your computer.2.Double-click the download package to run the package.3.Read and then accept the Microsoft Software License Terms.After you install this update, you must include the Shared Add-in Support Update for the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (KB908002) option among the prerequisites in the solution Setup project whenever you create a shared add-in project in Visual Studio 2005. To do this, follow these steps: 1.In Solution Explorer, right-click the solution Setup project, and then click Properties.2.Click Prerequisites.3.Click to select the Shared Add-in Support Update for the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (KB908002) check box.Note You must enable this prerequisite separately for both Debug and Release builds. Whenever you build your Setup project, Visual Studio 2005 will include the redistributable updates with your project in a folder that is named KB908002.
