On several of my member servers, I'm getting the LicenseService warnings seen below:

Replication of license information failed because the License Logging Service on server \\Server could not be contacted.

The LLS is running on this remote machine (the server), all network connectivity is working, and the domain controller is configured in Active Directory Sites and Services as the primary license server, yet this error still occurs every 15 minutes... does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!

I've restarted the services many times... this problem has been occurring for a few months.

These servers are running Windows Server 2003 and I have already referred to several KB and EE articles:

the License Logging Service is unreliable.

Unless you are running Windows 2003 SBS, you are fine to disable the service on all servers.

Can I disable the license logging service in Windows 2000?

We have a Windows 2003 AD running Exchange 2003, SQL 200 and we have disabled LLS on all servers with absolutely no problems. In fact, there are fewer spurious errors in the server event logs, so our life has been made easier.
