One of our Windows 2003 servers is getting the following messages in the System Event Log (see below). It is not a domain controller. What could be causing this? I'm assuming DNS problems but I'm not sure where to start to try and fix the problem. The DNS client settings on the server are valid, i.e. pointing to the right DNS servers for the domain.

The message :

This computer was not able to set up a secure session with a domain controller in domain XXX due to the following:
The remote procedure call was cancelled.
This may lead to authentication problems. Make sure that this computer is connected to the network. If the problem persists, please contact your domain administrator.

ADDITIONAL INFO
If this computer is a domain controller for the specified domain, it sets up the secure session to the primary domain controller emulator in the specified domain. Otherwise, this computer sets up the secure session to any domain controller in the specified domain

(1) Check the DNS & WINS entries?
(2) Check whether the Firewall service is ON of OFF?
(3) Check the status of the Browser service?
(4) Check the status of the machines account in the AD?(It may be disabled)
(5) Remove the machine from the domain & readd it to the domain else try using teh netdom utility to reset the secure channel between the server & the domain controller?

Kindly let me know if any of the above solution works?
