What is the difference between the patch KB931836 and KB928388? I must install the DST patch before the 11th March 2007 and I do not know which of these 2 patches to install. The KB describes each of these 2 updates as enabling Windows 2003 servers to automatically adjust the computer clock on the correct date in 2007 due to revised Daylight Saving Time laws in many countries.
Does Microsoft have 2 different patches for the same thing? Or are they playing with me just to make sure I am alert as a network administrator?

Microsoft has re-released a newer version of the patches. If you read 931836 carefully you'll see near the bottom the following note:

This update replaces the following updates:
• 928388 (2007 time zone update for Microsoft Windows operating systems) 2007 time zone update for Microsoft Windows operating systems
• 929120 (Windows Server 2003-based computers and Windows XP-based computers that are set to the West Australia time zone do not change to daylight saving time on December 3, 2006) Windows Server 2003-based computers and Windows XP-based computers that are set to the West Australia time zone do not change to daylight saving time on December 3, 2006
