Question: XP Pro, SP2, when setting up Remote Desktop Connection, I am unable to enter and save my username, password, and domain name. On the General tab, underneath "Computer:", it says "User Name: (none) You will be asked for credentials when you connect."
In researching this through Help, I came across this statement:
"If the option Remember my credentials is unavailable, the policy Do Not Allow Password Saving is enabled."
Sure enough, "Remember my credentials" in not available, but I can't find where the policy is, or how to change it. Can anybody help me out? I can successfully connect, but it defaults the computer name followed by a back slash ( \ ) followed by my current Windows user name, in the user name field. So every time I want to connect, I have to edit this information.
