Default How to get an email alert from Server 2003 when disk "Redundancy Fails"

As a Microsoft Action Pack subscriber, I have been running Microsoft Exchange and other server products for years in a home-office on cheap workstation hardware using the Software RAID-1 built into the OS. (It works great > don't scold me . . I use hardware raid on real servers for my clients)

There does not seem to be any built-in way to get an alert from Windows when disk "Redundancy Fails" I have had drives fail but I only catch it on periodic inspection of event logs or the disk management console.

Is there a third party or any other way to get an email alert when there are drive or other problems. The Small Business Server may handle this better, but I just migrated to Exchange 2007 on a 64bit computer and that isn't a setup offered in the Small Bus Server yet.

Use eventriggers.exe (available in XP and W2k3, Microsoft Corporation) to trigger an event for the id that indicates a failed disk (should be Event ID 2, source dmboot, but you'll have to verify if this is all you need).
You can then use blat.exe (happy mailing : Blat online) to email the warning.
