On IIS I have setup another web site with the host header name of "corpprinters" and the same entry on DNS as a CNAME. The corpprinters Web site is pointed directly to "C:\windows\web\printers" for the home directory. Essentially I can connect and print using IPP if I connect via the server name. ie: http://servername/printers But when I try to connect via the CNAME entry of "corpprinters" (http://corpprinters) I can load the page, see the printers but when I try to connect to load the drivers I get an "access denied" message. |
