Question: I just performed a clean install of Windows Server 2003 x64. I have installed Wins and DNS, and get the following error when I run netdiag. Anyone know what this means?

what does the node type on ipconfig /all show? since we are using WINS it should be on hybrid and also check on the registry if the NetBT has the transport binded:

HKLM/system/currentcontrolset/services/NetBT/Parameters/TransportBindName

do you see \Device\

also recheck if the disable NIC has NetBIOS enabled (if..disable it)
