200GB Hard Disk Recognition Problem

Hi
I recently installed win 2000. It identified only 127GB. Yes I know Why? Due to limitation of windows 2k. In this case, I have lost my 3 partition with Data too

whereas some Partition recovery softwares like (Data Doctor Recovery NTFS(Evaluation)) are still capable to read those partition.

It gives me a little hope that partitions are still there but win2K can not recognize them.

My Question: If I Install Windows 2003 server, will my partition recover or it will be waste of time.

Quick advice is highly appreciated.

It depends on whats causing it. If its a partition limitation in Windows (not convinced), then yes, server 2003 should be able to see it. If its a bios limitation, then Server 2003 won't see it either. My best suggestion is to stick the hard drive in a Windows XP machine (newer PC), and see if you can backup your data before you go installing another operating system.
