Start menu folder redirection

Question: I am trying to use group policy to redirect the startmenu folder when a user logs on.

the user (userA) is part of an OU which i have applied the policy to.

as far as i can see all other parts of the policy are working fine, as the other settings throughout appear on my client.

i have used a UNC path, and have given userA full permissions over the directories to try to resolve this, and it has not worked.

are you using group policy manangemetn? if so run a report to see whats getting applied.
also check the event logs after logging on. It shoud display any GPO that are not applied
