Recently a user account was deleted on our Windows 2003 Small Business Server and I am looking for the best way to restore it. I have both a Backup Exec Tape Backup and a System State backup in a network share.

All of the recovery instructions I see describe stopping replication and performing authoritative restores. This network contains just one Win 2003 SBS domain controller and I am hoping to find instructions for that scenario.

Yesterday I tried to use instructions for "undeleting" the account and I got pretty far along until I got to the actual restore step. Apparently I needed to know what the original OU was and as far as I can tell the OU was simply "Users." This is a small network with no custom groups. In this case I was using the ldp.exe tool.

Also, what does a system state restore do to the user accounts on a Domain Controller? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
