Need Static IP Help

Question: I'm running windows server 2003. Its working using DHCP.

I need to assign it a static IP. How do I do that? Step by Step please at the beginner level; and I need it quickly, I'm crunching a deadline...

Start->Run->CMD /K ipconfig /all

Leave this window open if you want to keep the current IP settings.

next step,

Start->Run->ncpa.cpl.

Right-click the local area network
Choose properties
Click the Internet protocl (TCP/IP) in the list.
Choose properties

Click the Use the following IP adddress button
and enter your IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway there.

optionally, enter your preferred and alternate dns server settings.
And click OK.
