Question: I have had to switch motherboards "under" windows 2003 server. The system came up fine except for one service not starting. The "trusted platform core service" will not start. it is dependent on RPC, but RPC is running. I receive a pop up error that says "a security platform connection cannot be made" error #0xe0283103. A second error pop-up says that a "psd access" problem has occured.
lastly event viewer reveals that "trusted platfrom core service did not start" with and error 7023. I am finding little clues with this information. Both motherboards had on-board lan cards. So essentially the service is acting as if the security is screwed. A network pc cannot access the shared drives or files. I will be switching the motherboards back shortly to see if this follows the motherboards.
Thanks in advance
