"The purchased license data could not be saved to CPL.CFG. The data is the error code." And "The user data could not be saved to LLSUSER.LLS. The data is the error code." Any other servers running the license logging service reported this error in event viewer Replication of license information failed because the logging service on server <servername> could not be contacted. The only fix I could find was to reset the license logging service (Microsoft 883399) How to reset the License Logging service in Windows Server 2003 I followed every step in this article. After I reset the service everything was fine and now there are no more errors and we were able to add licenses for windows server. NOW the problem is we have other servers and need to add licenses for them but we are not able to because they are missing from the products drop down menu. When you try to add a new client access license the only things listed are Windows Server and Microsoft BackOffice. I need to be able to add licenses for Microsoft Exchange Server. So how do I get Microsoft Exchange Server in that drop down menu so I can add licenses? I looked everywhere. Can someone please help me? |
