All Folders set to "Read Only"

My Windows 2003 server, which has been running without problem for some time now, has suddenly made all files and folders "Read Only"

Any idea why this would happen?

When you log on locally to the machine in question, can you create files and/or folders, or does it only affect network access?
If the latter, stick to leew's suggestion and check the share permissions. Unlike NT 4 and Windows 2000, the default permissions for new shares on a W2k3 machine are Read only for Everyone. Someone might have removed a share by accident, the recreated it without setting the permissions.
