We are having two server's in two different locations and we implemented remote desktop on this two server's ...The problem is when i tried to connect to the server(remotely using another pc as we have got no monitor for the server ) from the office where it is located using Its name it's getting connected but with its ip address it's not (login page is getting displayed and on providing the credentials it's showing err msg like domain doesn't exist or couldn't be contacted)...

And if i try to connect to that server (using remote desktop) from the server located in another office it's not getting connected either by using ip address or by its name

Is this a cause of Dns lookup problem ..if so how to rectify this
