I have Windows Server 2003 box that I use as a print server, amoung other things. Most of our machines are Windows XP or OS X Tiger. Recently I was issued a sandbox laptop to play around with Vista Business Edition to see how nice it would play with our network and equipment. My question: Is there a way to share printers on Windows Server 2003 so that the Vista machine can automatically pick up the printer drivers?

In the printer properties it gives you the option to install additional drivers, but obviously Windows Vista is not an option. It only goes as high as XP. Any ideas?

Exactly. They have to be added to the server. They were not available at the time the printer was set up, so they do not show as available, as they are not. Some printers will print using XP drivers when you are running Vista, others need the new drivers added, and hundreds of others do not have Vista drivers available for download as of yet.
