I have developed a runtime database in Developer XP, Access 2002 format. It has been distributed widely with no major headaches. A user has just upgraded her system to Vista and Access 2007 and is getting the following error message when trying to load her database from the CD.
" The office system pack cannot be installed on this system because the languages are not the same. Install the office system pack for the appropriate language on your computer."
The user has United Kingdom English selected in her rigional settings - I have tried getting her to change this to Us English - made no difference whatsoever. I have done a very wide search of the Internet for help on this and the solutions seem to apply to older systems and a problem with Service Pack II with XP which I have already addressed before.

Of course this may just mean that runtime databases no longer work on Vista or there is a conflict with Access 2007 - but I would like to know for certain before having to go back to the company and demanding more money to redevelop the database for newer users! Can anyone help - Thanks Louise
