Vista Install Error Uninstall DVD-RAM driver software / BD driver software

Vista ultimate upgrade from xpsp2.
When I run upgrade advisor from XP desktop no , or minor, problems are indicated. When I try to install vista after it checks for upgrade problems the following message comes up before I can continue to install:

Uninstall DVD-RAM driver software / BD Driver software from programs.

I did remove Roxio. No change.

I've spent too many hours trying to find out exactly what to do.

2nd problem- from win desktop rt click causes the desktop to close then reopen. It is very hard to save data that way. Perhaps I should just do a clean install of Vista, if the bu problem was taken care of.

Clean install is the best way to go. If you do, be sure to make backups.
