There is no OS installed on the computer. I get various responses; right now it is hung after loading files and the moving green thing went by about 3 times. I have also had 'Page_Fault_in_nonpaged_area' BSOD. I tried with a DOS boot CD but I had no UDF system there so the Vista DVD was unaccessible. Any suggestions would be welcome. I am fairly new to the building of computers and this is my first 64 bit. |

Here is what I have (should have done this first, sorry) I did just buy all of these components in the last two weeks. A8N32-SLI-Deluxe Socket 939 motherboard AMIBIOS v1205 4/28/06 SLI-32 SATA raid 7.2.24 Athlon 64 FX-60 CPU 4gb pc3200 ram - 2gb Ultra and 2gb Corsair 2 Maxtor 500gb SATA drives PNY GeForce 7950 GT 512mb PCIe w/dual DVI/HDTV Sony DRU-120C DVD-RW Pioneer DVD-710 DVD-Rw From your comment I guess the first thing is to take out one type of memory in case that is a conflict. The motherboard is supposed to be Vista ready Do you think breaking the raid can help? |
