Question: I just loaded Vista in a XP pro pc. When vista starts I get those error messages:
1/ Explorer. exe. Application Error. The instruction at Oxc4e9b825
referenced memory at Oxc4e9b825 could not be read.

2. Explorer application Error: The application failed to initialize
properly at
Oxc0000005.

3. Explorer application Error: The application failed to initialize
Ox800106ba.
A problem caused this prog. svc to stop. To start the svc.reset your
computer or search Help and Support.

4.Wireless Netwk Sec (McAfee) is not installed correctly. Reinstall
the program before continuing (Of course it can't be reinstalled
before other probs. are cleared up.) A Wireless adapter was not
detected. To connect with network your computer requires a wireless
adapter. It is a card that can be inserted in the back or the pc, etc etc etc.

5. Cmd.exe. Backup Run Once Key failed to save the key'C:\program
files\McAfee. etc etc etc.

I'm agreeing with McAfee not being compatible with Windows Vista. At what point do these errors occur? If it is after the initial loading bar vanishes and Vista starts to display its fancy stuff then I would certainly think it is McAfee.

You could try booting into safe mode and if it loads successfully, uninstall McAfee and try again.
