Trying to dual boot xp over vista, xp can't see any disks to install on.
Raid 1 I am trying to dual boot vista and xp. Vista is installed. I used the shrink tool in disk mgmt. to create another partition. So Vista is on C:/ and I want to put XP on D:/ , which is the 2nd partiton on disk 0. My Problem is when I boot with the xp cd and load the raid drivers xp doesn't see the disk. Nor does it see the other raid disk 1. I have tried several versions of the raid drivers. I'm stuck. |

I partitioned my drive in a similar fashion and tried to install XP on the second partition but each time it screwed up the boot loader for vista. i ended up installing XP first on the first partition and installing vista from within XP on the second partition. Perfect. |
